
Blue, Harper and Magette Tabbed as D-League All-Stars

EL SEGUNDO - The Los Angeles trio of Vander Blue, Justin Harper and Josh Magette have each been named as NBA D-League Western Conference All-Stars, the league announced today.
The group will be in action at the 2017 NBA D-League All-Star Game presented by Kumho Tire on Saturday, Feb. 18, in New Orleans. D-Fenders head coach Coby Karl and his staff were picked to lead the Western Conference's all-stars last week.
Blue will be making his third consecutive all-star appearance. A two-time NBA D-League Performer of the Week this season, the former Marquette standout ranks third among all players in scoring with 24.8 points per game. Overall, Blue has established himself as one of the most lethal scorers that the D-League has ever seen, totaling 3,662 points that is good for sixth all-time.
Harper will be making his second consecutive all-star appearance in 2017 after averaging 15.9 points, 7.5 rebounds and 1.2 assists in 30 games this season. The 6-foot-10 Harper has totaled nine double-doubles in 2016-17 and has connected on 39.5 percent of his three-pointers this season.
Rounding out L.A.'s selections is Josh Magette, who will make his first career all-star appearance. One of the league's best facilitators, the point guard has dished out an average of 9.5 assists per game to go with a 3.61 assist-to-turnover ratio, both marks that lead the league. He has notched 11 point-assist double-doubles this season, and his 1,055 career assists ranks eighth in NBA D-League history.
