
Bighorns Complete Trade for Six-Year NBA Veteran

RENO, NV---- The Reno Bighorns completed a trade today with the Texas Legends, with the Bighorns acquiring NBA veteran Gary Neal in exchange for Reno's 2017 4th round draft pick.
A six-year NBA veteran that appeared in 352 games, Neal began his NBA career with the San Antonio Spurs (2010-13) before joining the Milwaukee Bucks (2013-14), Charlotte Hornets (2013-14 - 2014-15), Minnesota Timberwolves (2014-15), Washington Wizards (2015-16) and the Atlanta Hawks (2016-17).
A Towsen alumnus, Neal's time with the Tigers includes a two-year career (2005-06 - 2006-07) prior to a two-year stint at La Salle (2002-03 - 2003-04). He averaged 25.7 points, 3.7 rebounds and 3.8 assists per game, during his time with Towsen.
The Bighorns will face the Iowa Energy Wednesday night at 7 p.m. at the Reno Events Center.
