Pensacola Barracudas News Release

PENSACOLA, Fla. – The Pensacola Barracudas have added three players to its roster in preparation for Saturday's game against division-leading Tennessee Valley.

Aaron McCubbins, Taji Parrish and James Green were added to the roster Friday. To make room for the new players, Nick Iano was placed on the injured reserve list, Steve Ruckman to the taxi squad and Odell James was released.

McCubbins is an offensive/defensive lineman from Brigham Young where he played with Pensacola quarterback Charlie Peterson. His senior season, he started all 14 games for the Cougars, playing both guard and tackle.

Parrish is an offensive specialist from Bethune-Cookman College. He was spotted at a tryout camp prior to the season and was finally coaxed into joining the Barracudas this week.

Green, a former Southern Miss Golden Eagle, had been with Mobile this season, but was waived by new coach Alan Richer after he took over for Chad Lindsey who was fired last week. Green led the Wizards with four sacks this season.

Saturday is "Cable Bill Night" at the Civic Center. Fans who present their Cox Communications, MediaCom or Time Warner cable bill at the Civic Center Box Office will receive a $9 ticket for $5.

Tennessee Valley is 6-0 on the year, Pensacola 2-4.

Kickoff is set for 7 p.m.
