Barnstormers Add Trio of Rookies

DES MOINES - The Iowa Barnstormers add three rookies to their training camp roster with the signing of wide receiver Quinton Pedroza, linebacker Zachary Allen, and kicker Kenton Chun, Head Coach Dixie Wooten announced today.
Pedroza (6-3, 225, Hawaii) joins the Iowa Barnstormers for his rookie season in the Indoor Football League (IFL). Collegiately, Pedroza spent two years at the University of Utah where he appeared in 14 games before transferring to the University of Hawaii. In 2014, Pedroza appeared in 11 games with the Rainbow Warriors leading the team in receptions with 59 total and ranking second in receiving yards with 674. He closed out his collegiate career in 2015, where he appeared in 6 games tallying 23 receptions for 294 yards.
Allen (6'2, 240, Wake Forest) joins the Iowa Barnstormers for his rookie season in the IFL. Collegiately, Allen spent four years at Wake Forest University appearing in 24 games. Allen made his first career start in 2012 where he collected five tackles, including four solo stops. Allen closed out the season ranked fourth on the team with six special teams tackles.
Chun (5-6, 165, Hawaii) joins the Iowa Barnstormers for his rookie season in the IFL. Collegiately, Chun began his career at the Southern Oregon University before transferring to the University of Hawaii. Chun spent the 2011 season with the Rainbow Warriors starting in 11 games.
