
Ayres to Pursue Opportunities Overseas

EL SEGUNDO - Los Angeles D-Fenders center Jeff Ayres will leave the team to pursue opportunities overseas, General Manager Nick Mazzella announced today.
Ayres appeared in 22 games (10 starts) for Los Angeles this season, averaging 12.8 points and 7.2 rebounds in 23.0 minutes per game. The NBA veteran and former Arizona State standout appeared in two games with the D-Fenders last season before receiving an NBA Call-Up to the Los Angeles Clippers in 2016. He is the league's current leader in field goal percentage, having connected on 66.7 percent of his attempts this season.
The D-Fenders roster currently stands at 10 players.
