MIAMI, FL - The Miami HEAT announced today that they have recalled forward/center Jarnell Stokes from their NBA Development League affiliate, the Sioux Falls Skyforce.
Stokes appeared in three games (all starts) with the Skyforce, helping them to a perfect 3-0 record, winning each game by double-digits as he averaged 23.0 points, 9.7 rebounds, 1.00 steals, 1.00 blocks and 28.1 minutes while shooting 68.1 percent from the field. He scored at least 20 points in each game while posting two double-doubles. In his first game, Stokes posted a 23-point, 11-rebound double-double while adding three blocks in a, 103-93, win at Grand Rapids on November 25. He followed that performance with a game-high 24 points and eight rebounds on November 27 in a, 97-77, victory vs. Maine. On the second night of a back-to-back set vs. Maine, he posted a 22-point, 10-rebound double-double in a, 111-96, win.
Stokes will re-join Miami today and be available for the HEAT's contest vs. Boston tomorrow night.
