Soo Eagles Alum Marble Wins First NCHC Goalie Honor

Colorado College sophomore Tyler Marble received his first National Collegiate Hockey Conference goaltender of the week award. The other honorees are Denver sophomore forward Trevor Moore (offensive); North Dakota senior Nick Mattson (defenseman) and DU freshman forward Danton Heinen (rookie).
Marble recorded a career-high 50 saves in a 2-2 tie (shootout loss) against Western Michigan on Friday and added another 27 stops in a 5-0 win on Saturday for his first career shutout. The Detroit native helped CC go 9-for-9 on the penalty kill against WMU.
