Bighorns Fall Short to the D-Fenders in Close Game

RENO, NV - Despite David Stockton finishing with a double-double, and Brady Heslip netting 38 points, the Bighorns fell to the Los Angeles D-Fenders in a back-and-forth game 141-140.

The Bighorns came out in the first on fire, with Stockton landing a three in the first 30 seconds of the game. Stockton came out in the second half, netting another three in the first seconds of the half. Despite a last second shot by Andrew Warren, the Bighorns couldn't pull the victory over the D-Fenders. The teams will meet five more times this season.

Brady Heslip led the Bighorns with 38 points, and four rebounds. Heslip is leading the NBA Development League for most points averaged per game.

Tajuan Porter followed close adding 29 points, and five assists. Durrell Summers scored 14 points, adding four rebounds.

Stockton totaled 15 points, and ten assists. Stockton is currently second in the League with most assists averaged per game. Stockton currently has 76 assists.

The D-Fender's Roscoe Smith scored a total of 38 points, and tallied nine rebounds, followed by Jabari Brown with 24 points, and six rebounds.

The two teams alternated the lead 29 times, and tied a total of 19 times.
