Legends Acquire Ivan Johnson

FRISCO, TX (Dec. 5, 2014)-- The Texas Legends have acquired forward Ivan Johnson from the available player pool.
Johnson (6-8, 255, Cal State San Bernardino) played for the Dallas Mavericks in NBA Summer League and four games of the 2014-15 preseason, averaging 5.2 points and 2.5 rebounds. In 2 seasons with the Atlanta Hawks, Johnson averaged 6.5 points, 3.9 rebounds and 15.8 minutes in 125 games. Prior to being signed by the Hawks, Johnson played in 49 games with the Erie Bayhawks averaging 22.5 points, 7.8 rebounds and 1.8 steals and was selected to the NBA Development League All Star Game in 2011.
Johnson is expected to join the Legends tonight as they host the Oklahoma City Blue on Chihuahua Court at 7pm. Legends fans can catch all the action live on the NBA D-League's YouTube channel.
