Sarnia Sting News Release
As part of the franchise's 20th Anniversary Celebrations, fans were able to cast their vote for who they believe to be the top 20 players to have come through the organization in the past 20 years. The Fan Vote has come to an end and we have seen tremendous response from Sting fans; amassing over 6500 submissions.
"It's a big milestone for our organization; one that we are extremely proud to share with our fans" explains VP of Operations, Bill Abercrombie. "As an organization, were excited to have received so much support and are honoured to announce the Top 20 players in Sting history, as decided by our fans."
Fans can expect to see some familiar faces throughout the 2014-15 season as the Sarnia Sting look to bring back and pay tribute to players who have helped shape the culture of the organization throughout the last 20 years.
