DUNEDIN, FL - Tis the season to celebrate Christmas in July in Dunedin. Join the Dunedin Blue Jays on July 25th for a celebration of the most wonderful time of the year. Santa Claus will be in town, working on his tan and enjoying a night at the ballpark as the D-Jays take on a team that's always on the 'Naughty' list, the Charlotte Stone Crabs.
It will be a night full of yuletide joy, with snow, train rides, and cookies and milk. Fans will be given candy canes and the tiki hut will be selling 2-for-1 "Holiday Green" margaritas. All mistletoe rules will be strictly enforced, so beware of our mascot, DJay, throughout the ballgame looking for a peck on the cheek.
In the spirit of the season, the in-game entertainment will have an extra dose of cheer, with "9 Innings of Giving" where lucky fans will receive presents throughout the night. As expected, the music will be a joyful array of Christmas classics and we'll be singing loud for all to hear.
The Jays will be wearing special "Christmas Red" uniforms for the game, which will be auctioned off as part of a "blind auction" following the game. All proceeds from the jersey auction will be donated to Toys for Tots. Also, fans can bring a toy to donate to Toys for Tots and receive a voucher for two FREE tickets to a future D-Jays game.
