Fort Lauderdale Strikers News Release

The Strikers are thrilled to invite everyone to our fantastic game this Sunday against one the greatest teams in all of Brazil, Cruzeiro!

Cruzeiro play in the top level of Brazilian soccer and hold the distinction of being one of only five teams to never have been relegated from Brazil's top division. Today, Cruzeiro boasts some of the top talent in Brazil, including Dedé, Dagoberto and Tinga, with several players who have made appearances for the senior Brazilian national team.

A special group of tickets are available in the North Stand Sideline area for $30 in advance and $35 on the day of the game. Discounts are also available for groups by calling the Strikers Ticket Office at 954-606-0400. General Admission tickets on the East and West sides of Lockhart Stadium are still available for $15 in advance and $20 on the day of the game.

The United States Men's National Team is on a roll with wins against Jamaica and Panama in qualifying for the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil. The Strikers have partnered with O'Shea's Pub in West Palm Beach to host a fantastic watch party on Tuesday, June 18, as the USA takes on the Honduran national team with kickoff at 9:00 p.m. LIVE from Rio Tinto Stadium in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Watch the game with Strikers' players and staff and register to win free tickets for upcoming Strikers home games and other great prizes.

O'Shea's Irish Pub is located at 531 Clematis Street, West Palm Beach, FL 33401.

Have you ever wanted to make the trip to watch your Strikers take on the rival Tampa Bay Rowdies, but didn't want the hassle of the long drive? The Strikers have heard your pleas and have chartered a bus for our fans to make the trip.

The cost to reserve your spot on the bus is just $35 and includes your ticket to sit with your fellow Strikers' fans at Al Lang Stadium on July 4, 2013 when the Strikers face the Rowdies.

The Strikers will host an open tryout at Lockhart on Saturday, July 13, during the NASL's break between the Spring and Fall seasons. The one-day tryout will serve as an opportunity for soccer athletes from South Florida and beyond to put their talent on display, with at least one player earning an invitation to train with the Strikers during the preseason.

Due to high demand and limited availability, players will be asked to complete a registration with payment to confirm their spot. Tryouts are open to all players age 18 and older and the cost to take part in the open tryouts is $125 per player.
