Silver Knights Announce Youth Summer Camp

Syracuse NY - The Syracuse Silver Knights will be hosting youth soccer camps across the central New York area. The Silver Knights are the local Major Indoor Soccer League team for the CNY area. The summer camps consist of a "Mini Knight" camp for kids ages 4-9, and a Full Day Knight Camp for kids ages 7 and up. The camps will be offered throughout the whole summer at various locations including the CNY Family Sports Centre, Oswego YMCA, East and North Area Family YMCA's, the City of Fulton, Baldwinsville Youth Soccer Association, as well as the City of Sherrill with more locations to be announced in the near future. The camp is a great opportunity for youth soccer athletes to develop their skills and most importantly, have fun.
The camps offer personalized instruction from professional Silver Knights players and coaches, as well as other highly qualified coaches. The camps are designed to provide kids of all ages the opportunity to learn technical and tactical skills, all while enjoying a fun and safe environment. Two of the main coaches include Silver Knight Head Coach Tommy Tanner, and Silver Knight star player and Assistant Coach Ryan Hall. Coach Tommy Tanner has 14 years of professional experience and is a USSF B Licensed Coach. Coach Tanner played in the MISL and was rookie of the year in 1991. Assistant Coach Ryan Hall has over 10 years of professional experience has been coaching for the past 15 years. He played at Syracuse University and is a 7-time Major Indoor Soccer League Defender of the Month. These are just two examples of the experiences and qualified coaching staff for the camps.
The experienced coaching staff is only one of the many assets in which the camp provides. All camp members will also receive a Silver Knights t-shirt, Silver Knights soccer ball, 2 tickets to designated home games, Certificate of Participation, Player evaluation, and finally an autograph and photo session with the Silver Knights team and staff. The âMini-Knight' camp costs $135 (with a $10 discount for each additional family member), and the full day camp costs $195 (with a $20 discount for each additional family member).
