
Huntsville Stars Welcome the Montgomery Biscuits

(Huntsville, AL) - The Huntsville Stars will begin a five-game home stand against the Montgomery Biscuits (Tampa Bay Rays) Friday night.
Friday, May 17th (6:43 pm game) Post-game fireworks presented by FOX 54 and Star 99.1 FM.
Saturday, May 18th (6:43 pm game) McDonald's Youth Sports Night & John Rocker Visit: All kids 12 and under wearing a youth sports team or scout uniform will receive free admission to Saturday's game courtesy of north Alabama McDonald's restaurants. Former Atlanta Braves pitcher John Rocker will be in attendance promoting his book and signing autographs on the concourse during the game.
Sunday, May 19th (4:03 pm game) The Real Yellow Pages: Early arriving fans will receive a free Bingo card for a chance to play along for free prizes during the game.
Also, in a pre-game presentation, Triangle Packaging of Newark, NJ, and Cinram Group Huntsville, AL, have teamed up to save the environment and to donate baseballs to several local little leagues and recreation leagues. John Moran, Sales Manager at Triangle Packaging has announced they will be donating 600 baseballs this year on behalf of Cinram's pallet recycling program. Moran reported that Cinram, Huntsville saved the equivalent of three million pounds of wooden pallets in the first quarter of this year.
"These recycling efforts saved 7,650 mature trees according to the green machine calculator," said Moran. "In order to recognize Cinram's environmental efforts for future generations, we have decided to donate 600 baseballs to youth baseball leagues in the Huntsville area."
John Moran along with Michael Jernigan, Purchasing Manager at Cinram, Fred Rudolph, Vice President at Cinram and Buck Rogers, General Manager, Huntsville Stars will present the baseballs to the local leagues.
Monday, May 22nd (6:43 pm game) Small Business Buy Out Night at the Ballpark. There are 34 local, small businesses that have purchased blocks of tickets for customers and fans to Monday's game in a salute to small businesses, the backbone of America.
Tuesday, May 21st (6:43 pm game) Fans may redeem Mountain Dew bottle caps for $2 parking and tickets. Once through the gates, fans may enjoy $2 peanuts, popcorn, hot dogs, 16-ounce draft beers, and fountain Pepsi products.
