MISSOULA, MONT. - Mike Belfiore (2009) became the 41st Missoula Osprey alum to reach the major leagues Sunday, when the Baltimore Orioles recalled the southpaw reliever from Triple-A Norfolk.

Belfiore was a strong part of the Osprey rotation in 2009 that pushed eventual champion Orem to three games in the championship series. He was 2-2 for the Osprey making 14 appearances, 11 being starts. Belfiore struck out 55 in 58 innings and compiled a very respectable 2.17 ERA.

Belfiore pitched at Class-A South Bend in 2010 and was promoted to Advanced-A Visalia in 2011. Belfiore opened 2012 once again with the Rawhide in Visalia and was traded to the Baltimore Orioles for infielder Josh Bell exactly one-year prior to his major league call-up.

Ender Inciarte (2009) was the 40th Osprey that reached the major leagues and the only other to make his debut in 2013.

Opening Day of individual tickets sales is this Saturday, May 18 from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. at the MSO Hub located at 140 N. Higgins Ave. in downtown Missoula. May 18 marks the first opportunity for fans to purchase non- packaged tickets to see the Osprey at Ogren Park at Allegiance Field in 2013.

The 2013 version of the Osprey open their season at home against the Helena Brewers on June 20. Season tickets and mini-plans are now on sale by calling the Osprey at (406) 543-3300, by visiting the MSO Hub Box Office at 140 N. Higgins or on the web at MissoulaOsprey.com.
