Spikes Single-Game Tickets on Sale Today, Season Kickoff Party Today

STATE COLLEGE- Single-game tickets for the State College Spikes' 2013 home schedule at Medlar Field at Lubrano Park will go on sale to the general public starting at 4 p.m. today. At that time, all seating sections for each of the club's 38 regular season home dates will be available for fans to purchase in one of three ways:

Online at State College Spikes.com (Fans choosing this option can securely purchase and print their tickets)

By phone at (814) 272-1711 or toll-free at (877) 99-SPIKES In person at the Medlar Field at Lubrano Park Box Office weekdays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., or on Spikes home game days from 9 a.m. thru the completion of that night's game

Standard single-game ticket prices for the Spikes 2013 season range from just $6 for Outfield Bleacher seats to $12 for Diamond Club seats.

Coinciding with today's on-sale date for Spikes' single-game tickets, all fans are invited to the team's "Season Kickoff Party" from 4-7 p.m. at Damon's Grill and Sports Bar, located at 1031 East College Avenue in State College.

Damon's will be offering a special $12 all-you-can eat buffet including wings, pulled pork, assorted side dishes and a drink station (water, tea and soda). In addition, B94.5 will be on hand for a Live Action Broadcast from 4-6 p.m., kids can enjoy Spikes inflatable games, and there will be a car wash benefiting March of Dimes ($10 donation per vehicle). Fans are invited to stay after the event to enjoy the St. Louis Cardinals/Pittsburgh Pirates game on one of Damon's large, HD televisions.

The Spikes, the Class-A Short-Season affiliate of the St. Louis Cardinals, will open the club's eighth season on Monday, June 17 at Medlar Field at Lubrano Park against the rival Williamsport Crosscutters (Philadelphia Phillies). The Spikes will be home for 38 regular season home dates between June 17 and August 30. Season Tickets, Value Plans, McDonald's Flex Books and an array of group and corporate hospitality options are currently available and can be reserved by calling (814) 272-1711.
