Dear IceHogs Fans,

As I look back on the 2012-13 season, only one word comes to mind...CONGRATULATIONS!

From shattering the all-time per game attendance mark, to our very own Brandon Pirri becoming the first IceHogs player to win the John B. Sollenberger Trophy as the AHL's leading scorer, it has truly been an amazing season. Our organization has you, our fans and our partners, to congratulate on such an amazing season.

I have to start off by congratulating each and every one of our fans and corporate partners. One of the many goals that you helped us accomplish this season includes setting the franchise average attendance record, as on average 4,560 fans came to watch the IceHogs at the BMO Harris Bank Center. I don't think I will ever forget the atmosphere at the last home game - the sold-out arena was "˜rockin' like never before for the Illinois Lottery Cup clinching win over our arch-rival Chicago Wolves.

I want to congratulate our players, coaching staff, and support staff as well. As a fan myself, our team was so much fun to watch on the ice...you never had the feeling we were out of a game, proven by our AHL-leading 11 come-from-behind wins this season. We could score goals with anyone (2nd in the AHL in goals per game), and the combination of Carter Hutton and Henrik Karlsson backstopped an exciting run through the season.

As we look forward to the 2013-14 season, our organization is continuing to find ways to evolve and expand. For the first time in team history, every IceHogs game, home and road, was televised live. IceHogs fans are one of the few in all minor league professional hockey to have access to every game on TV. From Los IceHogs Night to the throwback hockey cards to another successful jersey auction night, the promotions here in Rockford are second to none.

Rest assured though, we are not going to rest on our laurels here as we are already preparing for next season. We have a lot of work to do over the summer, but cannot wait for the puck to drop next October!

In the meantime, let's cheer on the Blackhawks as they embark on the 2013 NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs! Wouldn't it be great to see former Hogs Bryan Bickell, Dave Bolland, Brandon Bollig, Corey Crawford, Niklas Hjalmarsson, Marcus Kruger, Nick Leddy, Brandon Saad and Andrew Shaw help bring Chicago another Stanley Cup?

Thank you for your generous support and for making the IceHogs the premiere source for entertainment in the Rock River Valley.
