
IceCaps Re-Assign Cody Sol to Colorado

The St. John's IceCaps today announced they have re-assigned defenceman Cody Sol to the Colorado Eagles of the ECHL.
Sol, 21, has played in seven games with the IceCaps since his recall on Dec. 10/12. In those games, he recorded nine penalty minutes. He will return to Colorado where he has played in 21 games with the Eagles so far this season. In that time, the Woodstock, ON native recorded five points (3G, 2A) and 93 penalty minutes.
He was originally drafted by the Atlanta Thrashers in the fifth round, 125th overall, of the 2009 NHL Entry Draft.
