ICE CHIPS: The KOOTENAY ICE enter this week's action with a 12-24-1-0 record (8-12-1-0 at home, 4-12- 0-0 on the road, 1-1 in overtime, 2-0 in shootouts) and in sixth place in the CENTRAL DIVISION...The ICE will play their next five games against CENTRAL DIVISION teams.
SUPER SEVEN FLEX PAKS: SUPER SEVEN FLEX PAKS are available to purchase at the ICE Office...You get seven game certificates to use at your convenience - total flexibility...SUPER SEVEN FLEX PAKS are available in Adult, Senior, Student and Youth packages...Adults are $133.00, Seniors $105.00, Students $91.00 and Youth $70.00.

DID YOU KNOW: TANNER FAITH recorded his first WHL career goal against SPOKANE on December 29...SAM REINHART, who leads the team in scoring at home with 19 points (9-10-19), needs to record three more points to reach 100 in his WHL career...AUSTIN VETTERL needs to play in five more games to reach 100 in his WHL career (VANCOUVER / KOOTENAY)...LEVI CABLE needs to play in two more games to reach 100 in his career...JOEY LEACH has recorded 114 points in his WHL career (23-91- 114)...TANNER MUTH has played in 189 WHL games (SEATTLE / SWIFT CURRENT / KOOTENAY)...ERIK BENOIT has played in 147 WHL career games...JON MARTIN has played in 93 career WHL games...COLLIN SHIRLEY is currently participating with TEAM WEST for the 2013 WORLD U-17 CHALLENGE in VICTORIAVILLE / DRUMMONDVILLE, QUEBEC (December 29 - January 4).
ONE YEAR AGO: After 37 games of the 2011-2012 season the ICE were 22-11-1-3, after 38 games were 22-12-1-3 and after 39 games 23-12-1-3.
UPCOMING COMMUNITY EVENT:
-Kids Club Tobogganing, January 5th from 2:30 - 4:30 pm. Members of the Kids Club and the Players will be spending the afternoon tobogganing together.
-Special Olympics Bowling, January 7th from 2:00 - 3:00 pm. Selected Kootenay ICE Players will be bowling with the Special Olympics group.
