Philadelphia Wings News Release

Comcast SportsNet and the Philadelphia Wings of the National Lacrosse League (NLL) have reached an agreement where the network will air Philly LAX Live on The Comcast Network and Comcast SportsNet. This 30-minute show will premiere on Wednesday, December 26 at 6:30 p.m. on The Comcast Network, and replay on Comcast SportsNet later that evening at 11:30 p.m.

Philly LAX Live will be the first show of its kind, dedicated to the Philadelphia Wings, as well as local youth, high-school and collegiate lacrosse teams in the Greater Philadelphia Region. Wings former captain and U.S. Lacrosse Hall of Fame inductee Scott Gabrielsen and current Wings defenseman Brett Manney host this behind the scenes look at the Philadelphia Wings professional lacrosse team. Each week they will go beyond Wings game stats and highlights to provide full coverage of the team's community efforts and report on local youth, high school and college lacrosse action.

Following the series premiere on December 26, episodes will also be aired online and at various times throughout the week on both The Comcast Network and Comcast SportsNet. The first episode will feature a season preview for the 2013 Wings season and the Wings home opener at Wells Fargo Center on Friday, January 11, 2013, when they take on the Buffalo Bandits.
