Rampage Win Second Straight, Defeats Illinois 10-7

Led by hat-trick performances by Semir Mesanovic and Adnan Ejupovic, the Rockford Rampage ran their 2012-13 record to 2-0 with a 10-7 victory over the Illinois Piasa in Glen Carbon, IL tonight.
The Rampage held a 5-3 lead at halftime, and never relinquished the lead.
In addition to the three goals each by Ejupovic and Mesanovic, Peter Kolasinski, Dorin Oprea, Wilmer Antonio, and Almicar Herrera scored one goal each for the Rampage.
Ante Cop had another strong game in goal for the Rampage, making 17 saves on 24 Piasa shots.
The Rampage will depart from Glen Carbon tomorrow, and will head to Cincinnati for their 7:05 kickoff against the Kings.
The Rampage will open the home portion of the schedule on Saturday night, November 24th, when they will host the Chicago Mustangs at the Victory Sports Complex (7003 North Alpine Rd in Loves Park). Kickoff for that game will be at 7:05PM.
