(Bridgeport, Conn - Sept. 28, 2012) - The Bridgeport Bluefish have announced the hiring of veteran minor league baseball executive Jared Forma as the team's new assistant general manager.
"Jared will be an integral part of our operation," says Bluefish general manager Ken Shepard. "He brings a great deal of experience to the club and we look forward to the new ideas we can collaborate as a team to allow our guests have the best Bluefish experience ever."
Forma, who recently served as the Director of Sales and Ticket Operations with the Blue Rocks for the past 13 years is a native of East Brunswick, NJ, and graduated in 1998 from the University of Massachusetts with a bachelor's degree in sports management.
The Bridgeport Bluefish Professional Baseball Club, a charter team in the Atlantic League of Professional Baseball, plays its home games at The Ballpark at Harbor Yard, located off Exit 27 of I-95 on the corner of Broad Street and South Frontage Road in Bridgeport. 2013 season tickets are available by calling 203-345-4800.
