Championship Series Begins Tuesday Night

The Goldeyes host Games One and Two of the best-of-five series at Shaw Park on Tuesday and Wednesday. Both games in Winnipeg are scheduled for 7:00 p.m. The Wingnuts host Game Three, as well as the "if necessary" Games Four and Five, at Lawrence-Dumont Stadium Friday through Sunday. All start times in Wichita are 7:05 p.m.

The Wingnuts earned a berth in the Championship Series after finishing a three-game sweep of the Laredo Lemurs on Friday night in the Division Series. It is their first Championship Series appearance in franchise history. The Goldeyes also completed a three-game sweep in the Division Series on Friday, eliminating the North Division champion Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks. Winnipeg is appearing in its league's Championship Series for the first time since 2003.

Playoff tickets for the three games at Lawrence-Dumont Stadium are on sale now. Ticket prices are just $13 for Lower Box, $10 for Upper Box, and $6 for General Admission.

Playoff tickets can also be had for as little as $5 with the purchase of 2013 season tickets.
