Amarillo Bulls Trade Jude Warner to Kenai River

August 29, 2012 - North American Hockey League (NAHL) Amarillo Bulls

AMARILLO, TX - The Amarillo Bulls, proud members of the North American Hockey League, made a roster move on Wednesday.

The Bulls traded forward Jude Warner to the Kenai River Brown Bears for three Tenders for 2013-2014 season.

"It's not an easy decision for the staff to make this move," said Bulls Head Coach Dennis Williams. "Jude is a second year player that with his hard work developed not only into a fan favorite, but was a favorite of the staff and the players in the dressing room."

In 38 games with the Bulls, the gritty forward who hails from Pickerington, Ohio had 5 goals and 9 assists for 14 points. Warner was plus 11 and had 29 penalty minutes and 62 shots on goal.

"Jude will do well for Oliver David in Kenai River," Williams added. "We want nothing but the best for Jude. This will help him attain his goal of receiving an NCAA Scholarship ."

Hockey returns to the Budweiser Bull Pen in the Amarillo Civic Center next Thursday, Sept. 6 and Friday, Sept. 7 when the Amarillo Bulls host the Wichita Falls Wildcats in a pair of exhibition games. The face off for both is set for 7 pm. Tickets are $5 when purchased at the Bulls office located at 301 South Polk in the Amarillo Building.

There is still time purchase Season Tickets for the Amarillo Bulls and have the same seat for all 28 home games. For further information, please call the Bulls Office at 806-242-1122.
