Charlotte and Jupiter Doubleheader Rescheduled

PORT CHARLOTTE -- Saturday's doubleheader between the Charlotte Stone Crabs and the Jupiter Hammerheads has been moved to Sunday due to wet grounds at Charlotte Sports Park. First pitch of Game 1 is scheduled for 4:05 p.m. Please disregard the prior release and note the amended start time.

The Stone Crabs and Hammerheads were postponed on Friday due to inclement weather and lightning in the area. Another storm passed through Charlotte County on Saturday afternoon, making the field unplayable for the start of the doubleheader.

The two clubs will conclude their three-game series with a pair of seven inning contests on Sunday, with a 30-minute intermission between games. Fans with tickets for Friday's postponed game may still exchange those for any regular season home game, based on availability.
