Bulls Add Frank and Morrison to Roster

San Francisco, Calif. - The San Francisco Bulls Professional Hockey Team, proud affiliate of the San Jose Sharks, announced the signing of defenseman Chris Frank and forward Jordan Morrison. The Bulls' roster now totals 10 for the upcoming 2012-13 inaugural season."Chris and Jordan are two key additions to our team's roster," said Bulls President and Head Coach Pat Curcio. "Chris has a physical presence in the defensive zone that makes him tough to play against. Jordan will provide important offense up front and electrify the fans with his skill."
Frank, 26, enters his fourth season of professional hockey. After spending his first two seasons in the pro ranks in the ECHL and American Hockey League (AHL), Frank played with Cardiff of the English Ice Hockey League in 2011-12. The, 6-feet, 1-inch, 230-pound native of Lynnwood, Washington led Cardiff with 296 penalty minutes in 50 games. In 2010-11, Frank split time between Elmira of the ECHL and Bridgeport of the AHL. He led Elmira with 136 penalty minutes in just 34 games. A seventh-round draft pick of the Phoenix Coyotes in 2006, Frank led Las Vegas of the ECHL in penalty minutes with 165 and plus/minus with a +11 in 68 games in 2009-10. He made his pro debut with San Antonio of the AHL, playing in 12 games in 2008-09, following his college career. With Western Michigan University of the NCAA, Frank served as captain in 2007-08 and 2008-09.

Morrison, 26, joins the Bulls for his fifth season of professional hockey. The Uxbridge, Ontario native, split last season with Ontario of the ECHL, Klagenfurter AC in Austria and Lillehammer in Norway. In 2010-11, Morrison led Ontario with 55 points in 71 games. Morrison, 6-feet, 170-pounds, set career highs in his first professional season in 2008-09 with 26 goals, 48 assists and 74 points with Wheeling of the ECHL. A seventh-round draft pick of the Pittsburgh Penguins in in 2004, Morrison also suited up in 2008-09 with Wilkes-Barre/Scranton of the AHL, earning an assist in seven games. Prior to turning pro, Morrison skated two seasons for Dalhousie University of Canadian Interuniversity Sport (CIS), leading the team in points both seasons. With Peterborough of the Ontario Hockey League (OHL), he totaled 191 points (75 goals, 116 assists) in 259 games over four seasons.
