
Barons Agree to Terms with Forward Josh Green

Oklahoma City - The Oklahoma City Barons have agreed to terms with veteran forward Josh Green on a one year American Hockey League contract, General Manager Bill Scott announced today.
The 34-year-old Green spent the 2011-12 season in the Edmonton Oilers organization, playing in 51 games for Oklahoma City, tallying 37 points (16-21-37). Green also saw action in nine playoff games for OKC, scoring four goals and adding two assists. Green has been a part of the Oilers organization twice in his career having played for the Oilers from 2000-2003 and 2011-2012.
The 14-year pro was recalled to the Oilers twice last season, playing in seven games while registering two points (1-1-2).
Green has played in 386 games in the American Hockey League with 114 goals and 150 career assists for 264 points.
Since turning pro in 1997, Green has played in 341 NHL games for the Oilers, Ducks, Canucks, Rangers, Flames, Capitals, Islanders and Kings.
