Changes Made to Bandits Front Office
July 10, 2012 - National Lacrosse League (NLL) Buffalo Bandits
BUFFALO, NY (July 10, 2011) --- Buffalo Bandits Director of Lacrosse Operations Scott Loffler today announced that Darris Kilgour will no longer serve in his role as general manager, but will be retained as head coach of the team. The Bandits have also declined to renew the contract of Derek Graham, who has served as the associate general manager of the Bandits for the past three seasons."Although Darris and Derek have performed their duties admirably and did many positive things for the organization, we feel a change needed to be made," Loffler said. " Simply put, the job was not getting done. The past few seasons have not lived up to our organization's expectations and, frankly, our fans deserve better."
The Bandits are currently conducting interviews with potential candidates for general manager and hope to have a replacement hired within the next week.
The general manager will be responsible for scouting and the upcoming NLL amateur draft, and will have the final authority on player signings, trades and contracts. Qualified candidates interested in the position may send their resumes to scott.loffler@sabres.com.
