San Jose, CA - Garrett Gould fired six scoreless frames and the Rancho Cucamonga Quakes completed a three-game sweep of the San Jose Giants on Monday night, taking the series-finale by a score of 6-0 at San Jose Municipal Stadium.

The Quakes finish the road trip with a winning record, after going 4-2, including their fourth series-sweep of the year and their second away from The Epicenter.

Gould (3-6) was strong for a second straight outing, allowing just two hits over six innings in earning his third win of the year and second on the road trip.

The Quakes got out to an early lead, grabbing a pair of runs in the second and then two more in the third, as Steve Domecus doubled home a pair to take a 4-0 lead over Giants' starter Ryan Bradley (4-5).

Casio Grider homered in the fourth for a 5-0 lead, finishing the night with a pair of runs batted in.

Rancho rounded out the scoring in the seventh, as C.J. Retherford singled and later scored on a two-out hit by Alexis Aguilar, making it 6-0.

Ryan Acosta struck out six batters over two scoreless frames and Freddie Cabrera tossed a scoreless ninth to help Rancho secure their third shutout of the year and first since April 29th.

On Wednesday, July 11th, the Quakes return to The Epicenter for a three-game home stand against Inland Empire. Dodgers' rehabbing outfielder Andre Ethier is slated to play in his first of what is scheduled to be two rehab starts for the Quakes on Wednesday, which is another Terra Vista Animal Hospital Bark in the Ballpark, as fans are invited to bring their four-legged friends to The Epicenter.
