Trenton Titans Looking For A Banner To Lead The Nation

TRENTON, N.J. - The Trenton Titans Hockey Team, ECHL affiliate of the Philadelphia Flyers, has announced the start of a new contest: "Every Nation Needs a Flag", where they are asking the fans to get together and submit artwork of their entries for the flag that will lead Titans' Nation through the 2012-13 season.The concept for the contest was discussed during a press conference held at the Old Barracks in Trenton. Titans' President and General Manager Rich Lisk was the keynote speaker for this event.
Here are the guidelines for all submissions. All flag design submissions should incorporate the Trenton Titans and be consistent with the organization's values.The design can be computer-generated or hand-drawn. The designs that meet the contest requirements will be reviewed and selected by the Trenton Titans Front Office. The selected design will be produced and unveiled during the Trenton Titans 2012-2013 home opener on Friday, October 12, 2012. The flag will be flown during all remaining 2012-2013 season home games. Design Submissions can be emailed to contests@trentontitanshockey.com from now until August 3, 2012. One entry per household.
The designer of the winning flag will be awarded a free luxury suite to the 2012-2013 home opener (food and beverage not included), an autographed team jersey, and their very own Trenton Titans Flag!
In addition to this contest, the Titans' promotional campaign for the upcoming season will include Nation tour stops, ticket holder functions, on-line contests and promotional appearances to name a few. The Old Barracks was witness to the battles of Trenton, the turning point of the American Revolution.
