Hogs Home Opener Set for October 20th

Rockford, Ill.- The Rockford IceHogs, members of the American Hockey League and top affiliate of the National Hockey League's Chicago Blackhawks, announced on Thursday that the team's 2012-13 regular season home opener is scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 20 at the BMO Harris Bank Center.

For a limited time, the IceHogs are offering an Opening Night Fan Pack, available in seven, 10, 12 or 20 game quantities. Fans who purchase an Opening Night Fan Pack will receive Opening Night free with the package and will be entered into a drawing to win several great prizes including a pair of Blackhawks Opening Night tickets for Saturday, Oct. 13 against the Columbus Blue Jackets at the United Center.

Other prizes for fans who purchase an Opening Night Fan Pack include an IceHogs game worn jersey, suite for an IceHogs game and four tickets in the Club Lounge which includes a buffet dinner.

Opening Night Fan Packs are now available and can be purchased by calling (815) 847-6399.

The drawing for the Blackhawks Opening Night tickets will be on Friday, July 13. Each of the following three Fridays will feature drawings for one of the other three prizes.

Friday, July 20: Rostislav Olesz game worn jersey

Saturday, July 27: Suite for an IceHogs game

Friday, Aug. 3: Four tickets in the Club Lounge for an IceHogs game

The IceHogs, in conjunction with the AHL, will announce the team's entire 2012-13 regular season schedule, including dates, opponents and times, later this summer.
