Grayson and LF Jordan Akins then drove back-to-back RBI sacrifice flies, stretching the lead to 4-0.

After RHP Luke Jackson (W, 4-4) kept the Shorebirds (21-29) scoreless through his first three innings of work, Delmarva got on the board in the bottom of the fourth. LF Mikey Planeta and 2B Nicky Delmonico hit consecutive singles to start the frame, and then a one-out walk by RF Brenden Webb loaded the bases. C Wynston Sawyer skied an RBI sacrifice fly to left field to cut the Crawdads lead to 4-1.

A walk by Sardinas loaded the bases, and Adams came darting in on an RBI sacrifice fly by Alberto, his third RBI of the game, putting the 'Dads ahead, 8-1.
