Frisco, TX April 5TH, 2012 - The Texas Legends announced the addition of center Sean Williams (6-11, 235, Boston College) to the roster. Williams joined the team just before tip-off last night as the Legends faced the Austin Toros in Cedar Park, Texas.
A three-year NBA player, Williams averaged 4.2 points, 3.3 rebounds, and 1.2 blocks in 134 games with the New Jersey Nets and Dallas Mavericks. In 25 games with the Legends this season, Williams has averaged 14.9 points, 8.7 rebounds, and 2.5 blocks per game. Over his career in the D-League, Williams has averaged 14 points, 9 rebounds and 2.9 blocks per game in 82 career games.
The Legends (24-24) face the LA D-Fenders (36-12) Friday night April 6th, at the Dr Pepper Arena in Frisco. Tip-off is at 7:00 PM.
