Legends Sweep Toros, Win Seventh Straight

Frisco, TX MAR. 11, 2012 - Former Texas Legend Justin Dentmon recorded a personal season high of 35 points, but Texas pulled away for the sweep of the Austin Toros, 105-97.

Dan Gadzuric was the center piece of the win for Texas registering a double-double in his first NBA D-League appearance with 12 points, 13 rebounds, and two blocks in only 15 minutes. Anthony Vereen led the Legends offensively providing 18 points off the bench while hitting seven of 14 shots from the field.

Texas dominated the boards outrebounding Austin 61-41 for the game. The Legends struggled from the field shooting 40.4%, but managed to grab 21 offensive rebounds in order to keep pace with the Toros.

Texas was also significantly more aggressive throughout the game making their way to the free-throw stripe 39 times, compared to the Toros 16, cashing in on 29 attempts.

The Legends (20-18) look for their eighth straight win Monday as they visit the Rio Grande Valley Vipers (22-17) at 7:00PM in the State Farm Arena.
