B-Sens Reassign Forward Corey Cowick to Elmira

BINGHAMTON, N.Y. - The Binghamton Senators announced today that they have reassigned forward Corey Cowick to the Elmira Jackals of the ECHL.

Cowick, 22, has recorded four goals and five assists for nine points in 44 games with the B-Sens this season.

The 6-3, 208-pound forward split the 2010-11 season between Binghamton and Elmira. In 30 games with the B-Sens last season Cowick posted one goal and three assists. He also recorded five goals, nine assists and added 76 penalty minutes in 31 games with the Jackals.

A native of Gloucester, Ont., Cowick was drafted by the Ottawa Senators in the sixth round (160th overall) in the 2009 NHL Entry Draft.

The B-Sens return to action tomorrow as they travel to Manchester to take on the Monarchs at 7 p.m. Fans can tune into the action live on "Binghamton's Classic Hits" BIG 107.5 (WBBI-FM) beginning 30 minutes before game time as Grady Whittenburg, the voice of the B-Sens, hosts the Countdown to Faceoff.
