Legends Challenge Best Scoring Duo in NBA Developmental League

Frisco, TX FEB. 01, 2012 - The Texas Legends and Reno Bighorns scored efficiently, but Reno capitalized late for the 119-112 victory.

Texas had six players score in double-figures as Booker Woodfox once again led the pack with 24 points while Drew Neitzel notched his first double-double of the year scoring 10 points and dishing out 12 assists.

Sean Williams was ejected in the second quarter leaving Ramon Dyer to crash the boards, racking up nine on the night. Dominique Johnson was sensational, scoring 23 points on 10 of 16 shooting.

Both teams filled it up as the Legends shot 54.2% from the field while Reno poured in 51.2% for the game. With Sean Williams out, Texas was unable to dominate the glass, losing the rebounding battle 40-32.

Blake Ahearn and Andre Emmett both lived up to their expectations as the top two scorers in the NBA D-League contributing 26 and 20 points respectively. Mo Charlo registered a double-double for the Bighorns with 10 points and a game high 10 rebounds.

The Legends (12-15) now pack their bags for a five game road trip starting with a back to back in Tulsa (13-13) on Saturday.
