2012 CHL All-Star Game Set for Tonight

GLENDALE, AZ (January 11, 2012) - The 2012 CHL All-Star Game, presented by Cliff Castle Casino and Hotel, is finally here with the battle taking place tonight (Wednesday, January 11) at Tim's Toyota Center in Prescott Valley, Arizona - the home of the Arizona Sundogs. The host Sundogs will face-off against a team of CHL All-Stars in a format that has defined the CHL All-Star Game for the past four seasons. Face-off is scheduled for 6:35 PM MST and the game is available LIVE on CHL-TV with Allen's Tommy Daniels and Bloomington's Greg Halbleib bringing you all the action as the All-Star broadcast team!

Dwight Mullins, Head Coach of the Allen Americans, will guide the CHL team for the second straight season. Last year, he helped lead the All-Stars to an 11-6 win in Rapid City against the host team Rush.

The starters for the CHL team are forwards Jesse Schultz (Rapid City), Brandon Marino (Quad City) and Bruce Graham (Allen), defensemen Jeff Terminesi (Tulsa) and Adam Rivet (Laredo) and goaltender Nick Boucher (Fort Wayne. Rivet replaces Wichita's Andrew Martens in the starting line-up as the 2011 CHL Defenseman of the Year is currently with the Oklahoma City Barons in the American Hockey League.

Joining Martens as players selected to play but unable to attend due to AHL call-ups are Allen defenseman Dylan King and goaltender Marco Cousineau and Martens teammate in Wichita, forward Alex Bourret.

The second half of the CHL's regular season gets underway on Friday, January 13 with six match-ups.
