Philadelphia Union Announce Partnership with Goldenberg's Peanut Chews

Chester, Pa. (December 16, 2011) - Philadelphia Union has added local candy company GOLDENBERG'Sé PEANUT CHEWSé to their list of corporate partners, the club announced today. Providing the northeast with the chewy, chocolatey, peanut-packed bite-sized candies, GOLDENBERG'Sé PEANUT CHEWSé has become a Philadelphia favorite for all ages and will now be available in select concession stands at PPL Park.
"We're proud to partner with a company that is so deeply rooted in the culture of Philadelphia and the surrounding region," said Philadelphia Union Executive Vice President Dave Rowan. "Here at the Union, we strive to be authentic on a daily basis and I believe that one can't get any more authentic than GOLDENBERG'Sé PEANUT CHEWSé"
The integrated partnership provides GOLDENBERG'Sé with various marketing elements at PPL Park, including signage, video board promotions and on-site sampling on gameday. The company will also join forces with the Union's Mobile Marketing Tour, visiting various youth soccer events to hand out free samples.
Bob Zender, Marketing Manager of GOLDENBERG'Sé PEANUT CHEWSé adds, "With this commitment, "GOLDENBERG'Sé PEANUT CHEWSé looks forward to becoming an integral part of the Philadelphia Union community by building strong relationships with fans of all ages."
The Union kicks off the 2012 season on Monday, March 12th at the Portland Timbers at 9:30 p.m. EST on ESPN2. The club returns home to open PPL Park on Sunday, March 18th.
