2011 Herbalife World Football Challenge Television Schedule Announced

NEW YORK/LOS ANGELES (July 8, 2011) - In collaboration with ESPN and Univision Communications Inc., Major League Soccer and CAA Sports today announced the 2011 Herbalife World Football Challenge television schedule.

All matches of the 2011 Herbalife World Football Challenge will be televised by MLS broadcast partners. ESPN continues its first-class live soccer coverage by broadcasting all but one of the Herbalife World Football Challenge matches across its networks, including ESPN Deportes and ESPN3.com. ESPN Deportes Radio will also broadcast five of the matches.

Univision, also a national MLS broadcast partner, will broadcast three Herbalife World Football Challenge matches across its networks, TeleFutura and Galavision, as well as on Univision Radio. MLS and CAA remain in discussion with potential national broadcast partners in Canada and will release details as they become available.

The Herbalife World Football Challenge is this summer's multi-city North American soccer event featuring Major League Soccer and top international clubs. Ticket information can be found on the event's official site by visiting www.WorldFootballChallenge.com.

The complete roster of sponsorship partners for the Herbalife World Football Challenge are AT&T, adidas, American Airlines, Bridgestone, Degree Men, Incapital, Konami Digital Entertainment, Inc., Lowe's, Coors Light, Pepsi Max, and Volkswagen, with Herbalife on board as the title sponsor.
