Well, here's your chance to grab one online RIGHT NOW.
The Penguins are auctioning off five game-issued Police jerseys on our eBay auction site. The jerseys were produced for the Guns and Hoses game on January 29 against the Binghamton Senators. Included in the auction are jerseys from:
#23 - Chris Conner - size 54
#55 - Jason DeSantis - size 54
#41 - Joey Haddad - size 56
#38 - Ryan Schnell - size 58
#3 - Joey Mormina - size 58
The auction runs through noon on Tuesday, June 10. All proceeds will benefit John Heinz Rehab and Allied Services.
HYNES, NASREDDINE SIGN MULTI-YEAR DEALS
Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins head coach John Hynes and assistant coach Alain Nasreddine have each been signed to multi-year contract extensions, it was announced today by Pittsburgh Penguins executive vice president and general manager Ray Shero.
Hynes, 36, led the Penguins to a regular-season championship in just his first year as an AHL head coach, finishing with a record of 58-21-0-1 and helping set franchise records for wins, home wins (30), road wins (28), and points (117).
Nasreddine, 35, found immediate success as Hynes' assistant in his first year as an AHL coach. Spending parts of five seasons with Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins in his playing days, Nasreddine ranks 10th all-time in games played (249) and tied for seventh all-time in points by a defenseman (56).
