AUSTIN'S KYLE WEAVER SIGNS WITH UTAH - Guard Earns 2010-11 NBA D-League Season's 19th GATORADE Call-Up
The Utah Jazz signed guard Kyle Weaver of the Austin Toros for the 19th GATORADE Call-Up of the 2010-11 NBA Development League season. Weaver's call-up, his first, increases the number of current NBA players with NBA D-League experience, including players currently on assignment to their NBA D-League affiliates, to 96. In 30 games (24 starts) this season with Austin and the Iowa Energy, Weaver has averaged 15.6 points, 5.6 rebounds and 3.3 assists. He's scored in double figures in all but five of his games this season, and had highs of 32 points and 13 rebounds with Iowa in a win over Sioux Falls on Dec. 1.
OKLAHOMA CITY THUNDER REASSIGNS ALDRICH TO NBA D-LEAGUE AFFILIATE TULSA 66ERS
Oklahoma City Thunder center Cole Aldrich was reassigned to the Tulsa 66ers, the Thunder's NBA Development League affiliate, it was announced yesterday. The assignment marks the 51st time in the 2010-11 season an NBA player has been assigned to an NBA D-League affiliate, and it is the third and final assignment this season for Aldrich, a rookie out of Kansas. Aldrich (6-11, 245) was previously assigned on Nov. 24 and Dec. 30. He's appeared in 19 games (all starts) this season for Tulsa, averaging 10.2 points, 5.9 rebounds and 2.4 blocks in 29.2 minutes. Aldrich has seen time in 18 games this season with Oklahoma City, averaging 1.0 points and 1.9 rebounds in 7.9 minutes.

McCants finished with a season-high 22 points, while Joe Alexander led Texas with 24 points. Antonio Daniels contributed 11 points and 15 assists. Philadelphia 76ers assignee, Craig Brackins led Springfield with 31 points.
Willie Warren met his season-high 25 points. Brandon Wallace finished with 14 points and six rebounds. In his Bakersfield Jam debut, Lakers assignee, Derrick Caracter, had 13 points on 6-for-10 shooting.

50 players with NBA D-League experience competed in 13 NBA games last night, nine as starters.
Cleveland's Ramon Sessions recorded 24 points, five rebounds and four assists in a loss to Charlotte.
Dallas' J.J. Barea tallied 22 points, six assists and two rebounds in a win over the Los Angeles Clippers.
Indiana's Josh McRoberts had a double-double with 15 points and 13 rebounds in a win over the Pistons.
Washington's Othyus Jeffers came off the bench to score 15 points and grab eight rebounds in a loss to Miami.
