
Bighorns Sign Former Arkansas Standout Courtney Fortson

RENO, Nev.-The Reno Bighorns have signed former University of Arkansas point guard Courtney Fortson from the available player pool.
Fortson, a rookie from the University of Arkansas, averaged a team-high 17.9 points per game and was second in the SEC in assists, averaging 5.7 per game last season for the Razorbacks. He went undrafted in the 2010 NBA Draft after leaving school after his sophomore season.
Fortson takes the roster spot of Chris Davis, who was waived due to injury earlier today. Davis is expected to rejoin the Bighorns when he becomes healthy.
Fortson will wear No. 4 and be active for tonight's game against the Utah Flash.
