Bighorns, Susan G. Komen for the Cure Partner for Breast Health Awareness Night

RENO, Nev. - The Reno Bighorns and Susan G. Komen for the Cure are teaming up to host Breast Health Awareness Night at the Bighorns game on Saturday, Jan. 15 at 7 p.m. in the Reno Events Center. The Bighorns play host to the Texas Legends, who are coached by Hall of Fame coach Nancy Lieberman, the first woman to coach a men's professional basketball team.

Before and during Saturday's game, survivors, volunteers and their families will be on hand to celebrate and remember breast cancer victims and survivors, and help raise awareness for breast health and breast cancer research. There will be a silent auction to help raise funds for Susan G. Komen for the Cure, and commemorative t-shirts will be available for purchase for $10. One hundred percent of proceeds from the silent auction and t-shirts benefit Susan G. Komen for the Cure.

The Bighorns and Susan G. Komen for the Cure invite fans to come early to hear letters from breast cancer survivors. There will also be a pre-game presentation honoring Susan G. Komen for the Cure's work in Northern Nevada. Doors open at 6 p.m. for the 7 p.m. tip-off between the Bighorns and Legends.

Tickets are $10 and $20, with $3 and $5 benefitting Susan G. Komen for the Cure. In order for Komen to receive the benefit, fans must purchase tickets for this special event by calling Evan at (775) 334-7063.
