Austin Toros to Host Jr. Toros Dance Auditions

AUSTIN, TEXAS, Oct. 15, 2010 - The Austin Toros today announced Jr. Toros dance team auditions will take place Sunday, October 24th from 1 to 3pm at Galaxy Dance Studios located at 1700 S. Lamar. The audition fee is $15. Jr. Toros work closely with the Capital City Dancers, the official dance team of the Toros and offer youth an opportunity to enhance their dance and performance skills while developing healthy self esteem in a fun environment.

Girls and boys ages eight to thirteen are eligible to audition. Jr. Toros will perform at six home games throughout the season and may participate in community building events. Members will also practice twice monthly.

The Toros season tips off on Saturday, November 27th at noon against the Rio Grande Valley Vipers. Season ticket packages for Toros games at Cedar Park Center are available now by calling (512) 236-8333 or visiting austintoros.com. Ticket prices range from $5-$25 in the bowl, and $40-$100 for courtside seating.
