
Royals Sign Forward Eric Faille

Reading, PA - The Reading Royals of the ECHL, affiliate of the Toronto Maple Leafs and Boston Bruins of the National Hockey League and the Toronto Marlies of the American Hockey League, today announced that the team has signed forward Eric Faille ["FIE"]. Last season, Faille (6'1/189) (21), who hails from Lachine, Quebec, scored thirty-one goals, assisted on forty-six others (seventy-seven points) and registered twenty-six penalty minutes in sixty-eight regular season games for Acadie-Bathurst Titan of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League. Faille, who served as a co-captain for the Titan last season, also picked up eight points (2g-6a) in five playoff games for the team. Faille, who played all four seasons of his major junior career with Acadie-Bathurst, led the team in scoring last year and was selected as the Titan's Most Valuable Player and Fan's Choice Player of the Year at the conclusion of the season.
The Royals host the team's tenth anniversary home opener on Saturday, October 23, 2010 (7:05 pm), when the Elmira Jackals visit the Sovereign Center.
