WORCESTER - Worcester Sharks President Michael Mudd announced the hire of Chris Curtis as account executive as the Sharks prepare for their 5th season of hockey at the DCU Center in Worcester.

Chris Curtis was named account executive and came aboard with the Sharks team on Monday. The Natick, MA native and graduate of the University of Massachusetts-Amherst, joins the Sharks after spending last season with the Camden Riversharks (Atlantic League Baseball) as a group accounts manager.

The 24-year-old has worked the last three years with the Longfellow Sports Club in membership services. Previous sales experience includes stints with the Boston Celtics (corporate sponsorships services intern) and the Springfield Falcons (ticket operations intern).

"Chris is a go-getter and eager to continue his sports career with the Sharks," said Mudd. "He is a welcomed addition to our ticket sales team and our fans will enjoy getting to know Chris as we prepare for our 5th season of hockey in Worcester."

The Sharks home opener at the DCU Center is Saturday, October 23!
