
San Jose Sharks Re-Sign Center Andrew Desjardins

San Jose - San Jose Sharks Executive Vice President and General Manager Doug Wilson announced today that the club has re-signed center Andrew Desjardins to a one-year contract. Per club policy, terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Desjardins, 23, set career highs in goals (19), assists (27) and points (46) while appearing in all 80 Worcester games in 2009-10. He finished second on the team and with a career best 126 penalty minutes and was also second on Worcester in plus/minus (+29).
The center has 68 points (27-4168) and 225 penalty minutes in 154 career AHL games.
The six-foot, 200-pound forward from Lively, Ontario was originally signed by Worcester (AHL) on Jul. 20, 2009.
