Mark Your Calendars - Simoes Benefit Event Planned

SOUTHAVEN, MS --- RiverKings fans, mark your calendars for a special event to help the family of Lucia Elizabeth, Mary, and RiverKings defenseman David Simoes.

WHO: RiverKings With A Cause (aka RKWAC) is hosting WHAT: Benefit spaghetti luncheon WHEN: Sunday, May 16th, from 11AM to 2:30 PM

WHERE: BankPlus Training Center, 7168 Moore Drive, Southaven, MS (next to Lowe's Home Improvement Center)

WHAT FOR: To help raise funds to defray medical and other expenses for the Simoes family after the premature birth of their daughter, Lucia Elizabeth Simoes in February.

WHY: Lucia has been in hospital care since her early birth at 28 weeks of Mary's pregnancy. She was born at one pound, ten ounces. Her weight has improved to over four pounds, but hospitalization is still required for her until sometime in mid-May.

MENU: Spaghetti, bread, drink, salad and dessert.

COST: $10 for adults, $5 for children (ages 12 and under). To-go orders are $7 that include spaghetti, bread, and salad.
