Palmer Gets Call From Rockford IceHogs Of AHL

NORTH RICHLAND HILLS, Texas (April 8)-The Texas Brahmas of the Central Hockey League (CHL) have announced the promotion of goaltender Joe Palmer to the Rockford IceHogs (AHL) Thursday. The IceHogs are affiliated with the Chicago Blackhawks of the NHL.
Palmer, who is playing in his first professional season, attended training camp with the IceHogs early this fall. The rookie netminder finished his rookie season with the Brahmas posting a 13-10-4 record and two shutouts. The Yorkville, NY native completed the year with a strong 2.75 GAA and a .914 save percentage.

The Texas Brahmas will host an end of the season party this Friday at ZuRoma Bar and Grill at the NYTEX Sports Centre from 6-8 PM. This will be the last time for the fans to see the assembled 2009-10 team as they enjoy great food and happy hour drink prices from ZuRoma. Featured in the party will be a game worn jersey auction for patrons to take a piece of the season back home with them.
