Stampede open playoffs at home Wednesday night vs Fargo

Sioux Falls, SD- The Sioux Falls Stampede announced their first round playoff schedule with the Fargo Force Saturday night. The Stampede enter the Clark Cup Playoffs as the #3 seed in the West Division while Fargo is the #2 seed. All three rounds of the Clark Cup Playoffs are Best-of-Five series.
The Stampede will open first round action at home, on Wednesday, April 7th at the Sioux Falls Arena. Game time is set for 7:05 PM. The Herd will then travel to Fargo for Games 2 & 3, Friday and Saturday night, (April 9th & 10th). Should there be a game 4, the series would shift back to Sioux Falls on Tuesday, April 13th. If there is a Game 5 it would take place in Fargo on Wednesday, April 14th.
Tickets for the Stampede's first home playoff game this Wednesday will go on sale at 10 AM this Monday, April 5th at the Sioux Falls Arena Box Office and all Ticketmaster locations.
The Stampede finished the season with a 33-15-12 record and went 4-1-2 against the Force during the regular season. The Stampede are making their fifth straight appearance in the Clark Cup Playoffs. The Herd reached the finals in 2005-06, falling in five games to Des Moines and won the Clark Cup in 2006-07 in Waterloo.
